Scientific argument
Body decolonization: A call for the transmutation of the intimate
In this society, who among us has never experienced this immeasurable disharmony, this displeasure in the face of this fleshly envelope assigned at birth? Why should we therefore submit docilely to this bodily assignment which in no way reflects our authenticity? Would this not be a profound injustice, a latent source of pernicious discrimination? It is imperative and inevitable that public authorities prepare to allocate financial resources in favor of scientific research which will allow us to fully embody the skin color which aligns with our TRUE essence.
1. The intrinsic limits to bodily assignment: Since birth, we have been assigned a skin as an attribute, without taking into account the complexity of our intimate identity. By granting skin color a cultural meaning, society forces us to take on a pre-established identity, thus confining us in alienating straitjackets. But why should we consent to this undue assignment, without raising the slightest resistance? Do we not have the right to claim our uniqueness despite the superficial assumptions dictated by our physical appearance?
2. A profound injustice perpetuating discrimination:
The simple fact of remaining subject to our innate skin creates a chain of injustices and discriminations. Individuals who find themselves out of step with the dominant ideal of beauty or skin find themselves marginalized, stigmatized and victims of social ostracism. It is crucial to understand that this forced assignment to a fixed identity feeds discriminatory patterns, thus hindering our individual and collective development.
3. The imperative of scientific research:
In order to break with this harmful injustice, it is up to public authorities to invest resolutely in scientific research aimed at responding to this legitimate aspiration to transform our skin color. This is not a simple aesthetic quest, but rather an act of deconstruction of the norms and hierarchies imposed by society. It is high time to admit that skin color in no way determines our true essence.
Conclusion:
Accepting this assignment to our birth skin perpetuates a profound injustice, thus feeding discrimination and hindering our individual and collective development. It is time to question this coercive assignment and to reflect on the possibility of freely choosing our skin color. This bodily liberation is not reduced to simple aesthetic imperatives; it aims to allow everyone to fully express their true essence and affirm their uniqueness. It is urgent that public authorities support scientific research in this area, in order to respond to this legitimate aspiration for intimate transformation. By freeing our skins, we will free our entire beings, thus beginning the path towards a necessary and emancipatory bodily decolonization.
