One more time

One more time, this Saturday, December 2, 2023, an Islamist armed with a knife and a hammer, sowed death and desolation in the streets of Paris, killing one man and injuring two others.

One more time, under the pretext of caution, the media have taken the path of denial, insisting on the fanatic's very French first name to attenuate the responsibility of the ideology underlying these attacks and putting forward the worn-out explanation of psychiatric disorders, to insinuate that all this is not Islamist terrorism.

One more time La France Insoumise, through the voice of its sad chieftains, wallows in indignity by hammering home that he is a madman and that those responsible are those who have allowed psychiatric care in our country to deteriorate.

One more time, as with the rapes and barbaric acts perpetrated on October 7, all the wokes, useful idiots, and ideological accomplices of Islamist hatred in the Republic are silent or in the dark.

One more time, the precise information that was not long in coming belies these tragic antics. The murderer is indeed a radicalized Muslim, he did post a video on social media pledging allegiance to Daesh, he has already been sentenced to four years in prison for terrorist criminal association, he was in contact with the murderers of Samuel Paty and Father Hamel as well as with the jihadist sphere. And of course, he committed his crime while shouting the famous words of peace and love Allahou akbar, while he hit his victims with his knife and hammer…

One more time, the Minister of the Interior will adopt a martial attitude.

One more time, the Islamo-leftists and the useful idiots will cry out about the padamalgam, distorting the meaning of this crime by wanting to make people believe that the culprits would be the French, suspected of Islamophobia, this indelible stigma...

One more time, the leaders of the Muslim faith, rather than tackling head-on the cancer that is eating away at their religion and showing the greatest clarity and firmness towards their flock who would allow themselves to slide onto the path of terrorist violence, will victimize themselves by chanting "cepassalislam".

One more time, the identitarian ideology, which reduces every individual to his so-called "community" and every act to domination or the fight against domination, will have tried to cover the unacceptable with the virtuous lid of denial or, worse, of victimizing justification.

Once again, the RN will have taken a step towards power.

Deciphering censorship disguised as scientific rigor – a look back at the cancellation of Florence Bergeaud-Blackler's conference in Lille

Bergeaud-Blackler responds to the arguments put forward by Karim Souanef and Julien Talpin (Mediapart), who claim that the cancellation of his lecture at the University of Lille was based on scientific and ethical reasons, not political ones. They present the case from a political angle while claiming the opposite, omitting certain elements and biasing their analysis.

What can Polybius teach us about the current political crisis?

Polybius saw the history of regimes as a moral cycle: democracy degenerates into ochlocracy when virtue disappears. Today, the loss of elite training and the decline of universities recall this mechanism: without education, freedom collapses and the crowd rules in place of reason.
