Riots

The riots in France in the summer of 2023 have rekindled the debate on the role of the family, and in particular that of fathers and so-called single-parent families, in the education and structuring of youth. Some, such as Chantal Delsol, deplore the devaluation of the role of fathers, emphasizing that children from so-called single-parent families are more affected by deviance. Others, on the contrary, such as Laurent Mucchielli, consider that this is a myth because the correlation would not be a causality if several variables were taken into account.
