This year, the Arsenic performance hall is teaming up with the Docks de Cahors to present the opening night of a Genre de festival, which will continue at Gindou, from April 14 to 23. This Cahors evening will begin at 19 p.m., guided by choreographer Lucia Soto for a feminist and intersectional journey during which she will present her creation "Mala", but also performances with the complicity of Sandra Calderan, Romina Blanco, as well as a film about malambo, a dance originating from Argentina. The evening will continue with a concert by Aluminé Guerrero. On the catering side, food trucks and wine trucks will be set up in the courtyard. Here is the full program for this great queer and feminist evening: at 19 p.m., presentation of the evening and the festival; at 19:30 p.m., “Mala” (piece/dance); at 20:30 p.m., performance at the skate park + DJ accompanied by the texts of Sandra Calderan and the dance of Romina Blanco. At 22 p.m., screening of images from the documentary road trip in Argentina around malambo, with the documentary filmmaker Mélina Serber. At 22:30 p.m., concert by Aluminé Guerrero with dance performances by Romina Blanco and Lucia Soto. Prices at the Docks or on site: from €5 to €13.
