Following the injunction addressed to us to withdraw article 1269 by the Provisional Administrator of the Sorbonne, this is the letter we would like to send to him.

Mr. Provisional Administrator,

We learn from the letter you sent us on November 3 that the photograph of a naked person on the page 1269 from our site would have been identified by your services: it would be a photograph of your RB agent, "taken in the large amphitheater of the Sorbonne", but without her gown. We find it very difficult to believe that a distinguished professor from the Sorbonne could be in this highly prestigious place in such simple attire! If this is indeed the case, however, please know that we are as concerned as you are by this embarrassing situation: should such sobriety in dress be tolerated, or even encouraged, in the university setting?

This snapshot is a screenshot of a public video on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVonX927VLA). Other videos of the same teacher in the same outfit are circulating publicly on the internet: would it be possible to put an end to these exhibition sessions and their dissemination?

Furthermore, you draw our attention to “remarks detrimental to [your] agent” which were made in the same article. 1269. We must agree with you on this point as well: it is the words of "your agent" herself, whose "work" we quote, which harm her own reputation, and more seriously the reputation of your establishment which employs her.

It is she who writes thus:

"This performance indeed presents many of the constitutive characteristics of post-porn: abolition of the distinction between public and private, use of irony, break with the subject/object dichotomy, erasure of the border between legitimate culture (art) and illegitimate cultural productions (pornography), involvement of spectators, public exhibition of practices traditionally inscribed in the private sphere."
