Islamism, school bullying, eco-sexuality: a generalized bug?

The Senate hearings on the "Marianne fund" affair are underway, and all the light has yet to be shed, but one point already invites us to ask ourselves: how could the government have thought, after the assassination of Samuel Paty, that the fight against Islamist radicalization could be limited to distributing a few million euros to associations, a fortiori without monitoring their use? The publication of Florence Bergeaud-Blackler's book on the Muslim Brotherhood adds an additional layer to this concern.

The release of Florence Bergeaud-Blackler's book on the Muslim Brotherhood adds an additional layer to this concern. The damning observation made by our colleague, which some media outlets are desperately trying to sweep under the carpet, has still not received any official responses. What does the government intend to do to combat the Brotherhood's infiltration? The question is all the more relevant since the last school year, we have been witnessing a new Islamist offensive in schools, with abayas and qamis, with the tacit support of the French Council of the Muslim Faith.

However, the response of the Minister of National Education is strange to say the least. Rather than saying straight away that these clothes simply fall into the category of religious symbols, he published a convoluted circular inviting heads of establishments to " characterize the student's motivations based on their behavior "It is difficult not to think of Lionel Jospin's attitude in 1989, at the time of the Creil affair, when he refused to act by dismissing the decision to the heads of establishment.

It seems that the current minister has become a professional at sidestepping the issue. He has just adopted the same attitude with another major problem: bullying. Let's be reassured, the minister has the solution: a major awareness campaign will be launched at the start of the school year. Phew, so everything is fine. But still, we wonder: why does no one seem to be interested in the causes of this situation? Why is no link drawn between this phenomenon of bullying and the still very recent debate on "social diversity"? Good families are deserting the public sector in droves for the private sector, like the minister himself, the National Education system is struggling to find teachers, absenteeism is spreading, and no one seems to be visibly wondering how we got to this point.

In this regard, we will look with profit at a 2004 documentary about young teachers who are about to leave the IUFM to return to their classrooms. One sequence is particularly interesting: the one where we see these young teachers receiving the good administrative word that explains to them that, according to a decree of 2000 (signed by Jospin, Lang, Mélenchon and Chevènement), collective punishments are prohibited. Banning sanctions, refusing repeats, doing everything to keep students in the school system: could there be a link between this very accommodating policy and the current disasters? Silence, taboo question.

In this very dark context, the enthusiasm of the Lyon city hall for eco-sexuality almost brings a breath of lightness and freshness. A petition has been launched to ban public subsidies for such activities. That would be a shame. On the contrary, we should let them do it, and even encourage them in their courageous work of deconstructing the patriarchal-hetero-Western-materialist society. When they have organized an eco-inclusive orgy in the city council chamber, or a gender-neutral painting workshop in kindergarten using dildos for paintbrushes, perhaps people will start to ask themselves questions about the moral crisis we are going through.
