Day of the fight against delirophobia

[Here is an announcement that we are asked to publish, and which we will publish for once without comment:]

Paris 21 University supports the international day against delirophobia, megalophobia and paranophobia

«That's it, and I'm the Queen of England!…» STOP! We have all heard delirophobic insults on our campus. From simple prejudice to megalophobic action, delirophobia kills! The NDGJAHQ+ associations (Napoleon, De Gaulle, Joan of Arc, Hitler, “people who ask questions”, and more) are mobilizing so that inclusion is no longer an empty word.

Following President Macron who recognized on May 5, under the dome of the Institut de France, that "Napoleon Bonaparte is a part of us", the entire university community of Paris 21 is committed to megalomaniac pride and paranoid dignity.

May 31 is the International Day Against Delirophobia, Megalophobia and Paranophobia.

On this occasion, Paris 21 University reaffirms its commitment to the fight against all forms of violence linked to delusional identity or orientation towards a historical figure, and recalls the system for using honorific predicates offered to students: all those who wish may request to receive the marks of respect and polite appellations used in their delusion. To address students, the administration and teaching teams must generally use the qualification (or predicate) alone, by transforming the singular possessive adjective "his" by its 2nd person plural form. Thus, we will respond with "Your Majesty" to sovereigns (but the formula "His Majesty" will appear on student cards, attendance lists, display of exam results, transcripts and diplomas). However, usage may differ (eg: first person appellative for "My leader!") and above all, the request of the people concerned must be respected. Stay attentive, correct yourself when you make a mistake without making a drama out of it (which violently makes people who are victims of delirophobia feel guilty). Each member of the university community must declare to the administration, then during each speech or publication, their pronouns, first name and surname, as well as their qualification (or predicate).

This day, organized every May 31, aims to promote awareness and prevention actions to combat delirophobia, megalophobia and paranophobia. As every year, this day is an opportunity to recall the multiple discriminations that persist against delusional minorities and historical figures, for example in the world of work, in the enjoyment of one's character's heritage, in the steps of recognition of a civil status respectful of one's identity or in the public space.

You can contact the project managers "Inclusion of historical figures and fight against delirophobic, megalophobic and paranophobic violence" within our university! In particular, they orchestrate the various actions to fight against this violence in accordance with ministerial directives. Regarding discrimination, they work in concert with the project managers "Fight against racism and all other discrimination" to eradicate the following forms of stigmatization:

• be called by his “deadname» (the name that one wishes to abandon in favor of that of the historical character that one really is).
• being “misrepresented” (being referred to or addressed according to customs that do not respect the etiquette, marks of respect and appellations corresponding to one’s historical character).
